This special self-titled EP is The Heartstring Hunters, debut release. An indie-folk band based in Boulder, CO, their sound invites you into a musical conversation between friends, an adventure that dances between the space of the open road and a midnight sky. This album was produced and engineered by Mark Venezia and mastered by Jim Wilson at Wind Over The Earth Studios in Longmont, Colorado. It chronicles the soul-searchings of husband and wife duo Carolyn and Daniel Hunter. This EP also showcases special guests Natalie Tate, Sam Rae, and many more talented musicians living on the Front Range of Colorado to produce an alluring uniqueness. The Heartstring Hunters are currently touring throughout Colorado, sharing stages with artists such as The Dead Horses, Karla Bonoff, SHEL, Good Lovelies, The Leftover Cuties and Miner. They have played the Telluride MountainFilm Fest, The Boulder Theater, and the TedX conferences in Denver, though you’re just as likely to find them spontaneously entertaining crowds at farmer’s markets and street fairs all over the state. All east-coasters originally, it was the power of connection and a love for music that led them from the forests of Vermont, the rivers of Virginia, and the beaches of Florida all the way to the rockies. While many listeners lovingly match Carolyn Hunter’s lead vocals to the tones of Joni Mitchell, their new music also incorporates other times and influences such as Feist, Lavender Diamond and Matt Corby.
